Can someone clarify if this would be a good build for 3D animation in blender and cinema 4d? My file loads are pretty heavy in blender, which is accompanied by multitasking in after effects and photoshop.
I previously had issues with rendering speeds on my computer on a 2015 Macbook pro.

Yup that's a good build. Only recommendation would be to swap out the CPU cooler for something like a Thermalright Peerless Assassin or Noctua NH-D15. Or go for a good 360mm AIO Liquid cooler like the Arctic Freezer or MSI CORELIQUID
