Hi there! I'm looking for a desktop setup that can run unreal engine and maybe blender smoothly, since I'd like to create environments as references for my artwork. My budget is around 1500, but i might be able to push it a little if need be. I was wondering if either of these would be a good setups for that kind of thing?

This was the default when i first entered the CGdirector website
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8GHz 6-Core Processor ($245.00)
CPU Cooler: AMD Wraith Spire Cooler (Included with CPU) (-)
Motherboard: ASUS Prime X570-P ATX AM4 ($429.99)
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 6GB - MSI Gaming ($399.00)
Memory: 16GB (2 x 8GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 C16 ($59.99)
Storage PCIe-SSD: Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 500GB M.2 Solid State Drive ($74.99)
Power Supply: Corsair CX Series CX550 550W ATX 2.4 Power Supply ($199.99)
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case ($139.99)

This was the alternate build given when I specified 1500 budget, any CPU, any GPU, and 3d modeling and animation (admittedly, I don't know if that's considered the right category)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7GHz 12-Core Processor ($399.00)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 ($89.90)
Motherboard: MSI X570 Tomahawk ATX AM4 ($137.20)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700XT - PowerColor Red Devil ($449.00)
Memory: 32GB (2 x 16GB) G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200 C16 ($89.99)
Storage PCIe-SSD: Seagate FireCuda 530 1TB NVMe M.2 Solid State Drive ($119.99)
Power Supply: Corsair RMx Series RM650x 650W ATX 2.4 Power Supply ($76.31)
Case: be quiet! Pure Base 600 Black ATX Mid Tower Case ($115.93)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Also I got the note "Compatibility Note: Some GPU Render Engines require Nvidia GPUs" and I'm not sure how to check if that's the case here

If you're not sure, it's almost always better to go Nvidia for pro work. The second build looks good to me, just swap that GPU with an Nvidia option, and you should be good to go :)
PS. You can also up that PSU to 750W if you want to leave more headroom for future upgrades.
