Hi there, I’m planning on building my pc I already have all of the parts but I’m starting to second guess myself a bit if I overdid it a bit and wanted to get other opinions on the build. This pc build is for gaming, animation, illustration, and editing.
CPU: Intel i9 14900k
GPU: zotac getforce 4080
PSU: Asus TUF gaming 1000w 80 plus gold atx fully modular
CPU cooler: deep cool AK620
Motherboard: MSI mag Z790 tomahawk WiFi ATX LGA 1700
Memory: g.skill ripjaws s5 64gb (2x32gb) ddr5-5600 cl28
Storage: wd black sn850x 4tb m.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVME
Case: lían li lancool II mesh C rgb atx mid tower
I’m a bit worried that the 1000w psu is a bit overkill since I don’t think I’ll really be overclocking it too often and am thinking of exchanging it for 850w, but I’d like to hear other thoughts on it or anything else. Thank you.
p.s. I know it’ll probably come up so I thought I’ll let you know that I’ve been told that it’s better to get a liquid cooler but I’m worried about maintaining it and worrying it might leak somehow and damage the other parts which is why I went for the fan.
